kamadhenu
A sacred cow, regarded as the source of all prosperity in Hinduism and is closely related to the fertile mother earth. Kamadhenu also symbolises purity, sacrifice and grants all wishes and desires and hence is termed as the cow of plenty. In this work of Kamadhenu my interpretations goes as the “cow of wishes,” has a bovine body, a female head, polychromatic wings like a tropical bird, and a peacock’s tail. The legs represent Indian holy Vedas and the metaphor of birds flying are the wishes granted to seekers.
